How long should I wait in between oil changes and should I wait until my oil light comes on?
This is a good question and is asked of us very frequently. Typically your vehicle can go 3 months or 3,000 miles (whichever comes first) before the next oil change. However, synthetic oils allow you a longer interval between changes (some up to 5,000 miles) before your next oil change. However, we do not advise that long as it truly does break down the oils in that long of intervals.
What do I do if my Check Engine light is on?
Typically with Check Engine Lights, there could be a number of issues causing it, from not getting the gas cap on tight enough, to a plugged EVAP vent and so much more. This is a very common question on most vehicles and can be solved by hooking it up to our scan tool and resolving the issue at hand by repairing what needs fixed. If your Check Engine Light is flashing, DO NOT drive the vehicle as that indicates a catastrophic failure. Call us right away and we will help you resolve the issue.
